Product Questions

Will this brace work if my problem is right in the middle of the knee cap ?
Question by: Yolanda on Apr 26, 2016, 4:52 PM
The buttress will support the kneecap and that will help the pain under the kneecap

Is this brace good for post acl reconstruction once a knee brace has been worn for a month?
Question by: Jenny on Jun 28, 2015, 7:12 PM
Hello Jenny,
The DonJoy Deluxe Elastic Knee Sleeve is just a basic compression sleeve, and does not offer any ligament support, it is mainly used for patellafemoral issues. For more support and protection for the ACL I would suggest the DonJoy Deluxe Hinged Knee Brace, the hinges will provide better stability after an ACL surgery. See the link below:

If my brace has stretched out, is there a way to shrink it back to its smaller size? Im not sure if drying it in a machine dryer is appropriate for this product.
Question by: Tunde on Jan 28, 2013, 9:57 PM
Hello, Tunde -

No, the sleeve should not be put in the washer or dryer. This will compromise the material. Unfortunately, you cannot shrink the brace back to its original size if it has stretched out.

Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Can this brace be worn while swimming in a chlorinated pool? If not, is there another brace I could use?
Question by: Pat on Aug 1, 2011, 10:47 AM
Yes it can. Just make sure to rinse out well with fresh water, and let it air dry.

It looks as if these braces do not have a money back guarantee. What if they don't fit and don't work well for their intended purpose?
Question by: Torreylin on May 26, 2014, 7:58 AM
Thank you for your question. All of our products on betterbraces.com have a 90 money back guarantee. If you are concerned about sizing you can call product support for suggested sizing based on your measurements 800-553-6019.
