I have had two ankle ligament reconstruction surgeries. The last one was 4 years ago. I am an avid runner and exerciser. I need a brace that will give me support/take away the pain while I'm working out. I don't need something to wear all day, just while exercising. I don't have much balance or stability when standing on my left ankle. I don't want something that is bulky or takes too long to put on and take off. Any recommendations?

The DonJoy Performance Trizone Ankle has mild compression at the arch, medium compression on top of the foot, and maximum compression with silicone banding on the inside and outside of the ankle. It is thin and low-profile, fits comfortably and easily into all shoe types without difficulty. You could also looks at the DonJoy Stabilizing Pro Ankle Brace. https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-stabilizing-pro-ankle-brace. It is great for ankle instabilities and is designed to meet the needs of demanding athletes.

I have chronic ankle instability and also play soccer. I don't want a bulky brace, will the trizone help me?
Question by: Koby on Aug 14, 2016, 5:10 PM
The DonJoy Performance Trizone Ankle Support would not provide enough stability you are looking for. A more supportive brace would be our DonJoy Performance POD, this will provide max support and help prevent any ankle roll. It is also low profile and lightweight. Please see the brace here: https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-performance-pod-ankle-brace

Does this product help in running and basketball activities with a previous achilles tendon injury?
Question by: Towers on Aug 17, 2016, 9:45 AM
The TriZone Ankle Support is essentially a compression sleeve. A brace that may suit your needs a little better for an Achilles injury is called the Aircast Airheel Arch and Heel Support. https://www.donjoystore.com/aircast-airheel-ankle-brace

I am recovering from a broken ankle and want to get back to gym and workouts. Need ankle support now that I am out of the boot. Injury is 3 months old. Broke both tibia and fibula but breaks were clean and surgery wasn't needed. What would you recommend?
Question by: Dana on Sep 7, 2016, 8:19 PM
We would suggest something with a bit more support, the DonJoy Stabilizing PRO Ankle brace would provide better stability and support while you are regaining mobility and strength.

I'm looking at some sort of ankle injury preventer for my promising high school freshman basketball player. I just know how injury prone ankles can be in this sport. What do you suggest?
Question by: Brad on Sep 10, 2016, 5:06 PM
The support brace that can be used to prevent rolling of the ankle is the DonJoy Performance POD Ankle Brace. https://www.donjoystore.com/pod-ankle-brace

I have some soft tissue damage under the arch as well as a tendon issue in my ankle from falling in heels. I have already done the cam-boot for more than 8 weeks but still have pain, will this brace help to keep things stable until its fully healed?
Question by: Christine on Oct 2, 2016, 5:07 AM
This brace provides a low level of support, and compression to help with swelling. You may want to consult with your physician regarding where you are in the heeling process if this would be appropriate or if you need something with more rigid stays on each side.
