1) If my shoe size is a Mens 10 1/2", which size Aircast Air-Stirrup Ankle Brace would I order?
2) Does Aircast still make the "Aircast Sport Stirrup Lateral Side?
Please let me know the answers to the above two questions and which model I should order.

Thank you,

Rick

Depending upon the injury and if you are wanting to be functional with the brace on, will vary for each brace. For post injury the Air-Stirrup brace, being a Men's size 10 1/2" the Medium will be a good size.
For functional you may look at the A60 (will closest equivelant to the stirrup lateral side)
Please let us know if you have more questions.

If I already had a cast on and am just getting my cast off after having a broken fibula (No surgery was needed) and am looking for something to help me get back to walking okay, and that I can use whenever I feel the need to while running, excercising, etc. is the Air-Stirrup Ankle Brace the best option or would the Air-Sport Stirrup Ankle Brace be a better option (i'm liking how it states it is narrow for daily shoe fitting.)
Question by: Ashlen on Dec 13, 2011, 2:13 PM
The Airsport is a better choice to wear during activity and exercising, it provides more joint stability and fits in a shoe better.

I have a VERY old aircast ankle brace which I shortened by cutting the top 1-2" so that it is 8" from bottom to top of brace. But I'd like to update it. My foot size is women's 11. Would the Small still work for me (since I'd prefer the shortest possible height).
Question by: Katie on Jan 8, 2012, 2:51 PM
Hi Katie,

Yes, the small would work for you. It is just over 8 inches tall.

Have a nice day.

I wear a size 9 mens. I have a problem with my ankle rolling when hiking. This has resulted in a ankle injury. What size of aircast stirrup would you suggest for me. (my legs are slim)
Thanks
John

If you are planning on hiking or being active, I would recommend the donjoy Velocity ankle brace. The Aircast Air-Stirrup is for post injury for everyday activities, inwhich case you could go with a medium.

I wear a ladies 8-1/2 shoe. What size brace would be appropriate for me?

Thanks
Question by: Peggi on Jun 5, 2012, 7:01 AM
The Aircast air stirrup is based on the height of the brace, which is shown on the page. The shoe size doesn't matter.

After being in a hard cast for 4 weeks, ( fractured fibula) I was given this air cast air stirrup ankle brace. So my question is, Can I wear the brace while in a pool? Or will it damage? Thank you
Question by: Kathy on Aug 2, 2012, 11:14 AM
You should rinse it in tap water afterwards and allow it to air dry.

I received an aircast stirrup ankle brace while in the emergency room, but did not receive any instructions. Should I wear the brace while sleeping or in the shower? Or does my ankle need a rest from it a few hours a day?
Question by: susan on Aug 11, 2012, 6:13 PM
You should wear it whenever your physicians has told you to wear it. I am not sure of your condition so I cannot comment on that. You can get the Air Stirrup wet, you should rinse it and allow it to air dry.
