The Aircast Airlift PTTD Brace is a targeted support system designed for early-stage posterior tibial tendon dysfunction and adult-acquired flatfoot. An integrated, adjustable aircell beneath the arch delivers personalized lift to restore alignment and reduce strain on the tendon, while semi-rigid shells provide medial and lateral ankle stability. A secure strap system adds compression and helps manage swelling throughout the day. Designed to fit inside standard footwear, it enables continued movement during recovery, offering a less restrictive alternative to walking boots while supporting proper foot mechanics.

How To:
Brace Application Guide
- Prepare brace
Unfasten straps and open brace.
- Apply brace
Put on an absorbent sock. Slide foot, toe first, into back of brace. Pull brace shells upwardand align shells with sides of ankle. Wrap lower strap around back of ankle and secure snugly. Pull arch support strap until it is snug under the arch. Wrap arch support strap around back of ankle then front of ankle and secure snugly. Put on lace shoe or sneaker. To adjust fit, tighten or loosen arch support strap.
- Adjust aircell compression
The AirLift aircell is initially deflated. To inflate the aircell, firmly insert the hand bulb tip with white into valve on side of brace. Squeeze hand bulb until the brace is snug but comfortable. In the case of overinflation, deflate the aircell. To deflate, insert the opposite tip of hand bulb into valve and squeeze bulb.

Product Care
Separate the brace’s removable pads before cleaning. The AirLift PTTD Brace can be hand washed in cold water with mild soap and air dried. DO NOT ALLOW LIQUID TO ENTER VALVE ON BRACE SIDE.
