Orders will be shipped within 1 business day for in-stock merchandise purchased before noon pacific time Monday to Friday. Orders made on Saturday or Sunday will be shipped the following Monday ex. Can this be use in the freezer for cold therapy as well? Thank You.

This item is not recommended to be used as a form of cold therapy. The more you use transfer the pad from hot to cold it causes the seems to give way and tear, rendering the pad useless.

I have been using the hydrocollator packs for years now, and they all burst through the fabric after about 6 months of use. I have followed all the recommendations for use, even using filtered water instead of tap water, and yet this keeps happening. Any ideas on how to resolve this problem? Thanks.

Hi,

I am physical therapist from UK.
We were used hot pack last few years, but recent product not last more than 3 months, they burst through the fabric. materiel used to be synthetic which last longer. could you give us the reason ?are you using cotton materials.

Thank you for your question. The Material used is a canvas material. A few years back the supplier of the canvas did change. With the new material it is recommended that you pre soaking the pads at room temperate for 2-4 hours prior to placing them in the Hydrocollator. This presoaking allows time for the material and the clay to expand rather than placing them directly in the Hydrocollator and using a rapid expansion method which can weaken the material and cause bursting at the seams.
