I have really high arches, my foot pain is extreme. My orthopedist recommended these for me. I also have severe tendon and ligament issues. The way he explained these would relax my arch and help eleviate the tension in my achielles tendons. Buy my concern is that it might not have enough arch support . Do you have any recommendations. I look for customer comments and didn't see any.

Hello Vickie,
Thank you for taking the time to email us here at www.betterbraces.com regarding the Donjoy Arch Rivals. Yes this product is recommended for someone like yourself with high arches. There is still mild arch support but it is ideal for individuals that need to set their foot in a neutral position for proper alignment.

69yrs old, 316lbs, feet are killing me with pain, all my pressure goes to the outside of my feet behind my little toes on the flat part of my feet. All my shoes push out that side like a banana shape. I feel better when I get home and go bare foot. I do have custom suports that are 6yrs old, can't use them because they are taper the same way, towards the outside of my foot. Do you thing the arch rivals would work . I was refered tto these by a orthopedic. Please advise before I order. Size D

Thank you for taking the time to email us here at www.betterbraces.com regarding the Donjoy Arch Rivals. These products are ideal for patients that have high arches that walk on the outside of their feet. If your doctor feels that this fits your needs, this would be recommended.

I have been using Donjoy Arch Rival for 18 months or so. It worked very well on pain I had on my rigth ankle. The pain is coming back now. Do you think I need to replace the arch rivals for new ones?
Thanks!
Question by: NN on Aug 12, 2011, 1:14 PM
if they are starting to feel worn down or soft compared to what they use to feel, I would advice to order new ones. These usually last up to 1-2 years, just depending how much your are wearing them and walking in them.

I purchased Arch Rival inserts one month ago. I am very pleased with the lateral mid foot pain relieve component. I feel I need a little bit more lateral heel support. What do you suggest for my condition? Is heel cup a good option?
Thanks
Question by: Hari on Sep 5, 2011, 3:21 PM
Unfortunately there is no way to build the heel on the Donjoy Arch Rival. You may want to discuss this with your podiatrist.

Hello,

I recently ordered a pair of DonJoy Arch Rival arch supports. I realize this is probably a stupid question, but I am supposed to remove the lining that is already in the shoe or place the support on top of what is already there?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks
Mike
Question by: Mike on May 29, 2012, 12:03 PM
You should remove the current insoles, and then put the Arch Rivals in.
Answer by: Admin on May 29, 2012, 12:03 PM
I have been told I need Don Joy Arch Rival for my high arches and after pulling a tendon on left foot. I wanted to ask that I have a script from the dr so how would I go about having my insurance cover any portion? And how long does it normally take to get them once I order them?
Question by: Kate on Mar 19, 2013, 7:17 PM
Kate,
We do not bill insurance, you will have to submit the bill to you insurance yourself. As for ordering and delivery, The order would go out either the day it is placed if placed before 2 EST or the next day if after that cut off. We offer free standard shipping, but you can upgrade to overnight shipping.

Jon
These are used to treat high arches and provide cusioning to those who have a rigid foot. I would recomend speaking to your health care practitioner about what will work for your injury, thee are most likely not the answer
