Hi There, I'm on Medicare with BCBS supplemental, I'm having rotator cuff repair surgery next week. Is there a way that I can purchase the Cyro/Cuff for post surgical pain relief?
Question by: Margaret Forbes-Skubic on Jun 25, 2016, 1:19 PM
Yes, you may order this unit for post surgical pain relief. We do require a prescription from you doctor in order to place an order for it, however we do not bill your insurance. BetterBraces is an online retail store only, we only accept credit card, or PayPal for payment.

What is the difference of the ankle cuff and a foot cuff?
is the image shown here a Foot cuff? and why is there no size selection for that.
Unless you are showing the wrong image for Ankle cuff above?
Question by: DD on Jul 8, 2016, 6:44 PM
The Aircast Cryo Cuff for the foot is smaller and covers the area where a slipper would cover. The image on the site is of the Aircast Cryo Cuff for the ankle, which looks more like a boot.

I have the cooler and knee and shoulder cuff and wanted to buy the Aircast 20D Autochill Pump without the cooler. Do you sell just the pump
Question by: John on Jul 14, 2016, 6:35 PM
The AutoChill is no longer available. We have replaced the external pup, Autochill, with the Aircast IC Lid. You will need to purchase the lid and power supply. Please see the links below

Part 2 of my earlier question. The cryo i have is motorized. Will this work with the shoulder cuff or is there a different cuff for the motorized version? What should the prescription from my dr. say that meets your approval?
Question by: shelley on Aug 24, 2016, 1:38 PM
Hello,

Yes, the IC motor can be used on any cuff.

The RX should state the name of the product that you would like to purchase; Aircast Cyro/cuff IC motorized with X- Cuff.

thanks for contacting Donjoy.

I am missing some parts - electrical connector and internal hose - can I get replacements?
Question by: Bernie Berman on Sep 5, 2016, 9:19 AM
Unfortunately no, the only replacements we have for the Aircast Cryo/Cuff IC is the tube assembly. https://www.donjoystore.com/aircast-cryo-cuff-tube-assembly
Answer by: Admin on Sep 5, 2016, 9:19 AM
what is the difference between motorized and non-motorized? the motorized is less expensive but seems more effective, so I was just curious about the differences.
Question by: HEATHER on Sep 16, 2016, 12:09 PM
The motorized unit is designed to provide intermitent compression, so in addition to the gravity feed of the cold water it will have air compression that will squeeze and release on the joint. This item is also a prescription unit so it can not be purchased without a note from a physician.
Answer by: Admin on Sep 16, 2016, 12:09 PM
I have a gravity fed cryo system. Can I purchase a IC motorized lid and replace it with the one I originally have? Will this even work?
Question by: Rusty Boyd on Sep 23, 2016, 7:04 AM
Thank you for contacting Better Braces. To turn your gravity unit into the Motorized IC unit you will need the replacement lid as well as the power supply. The new lid will screw on just like you're old gravity lid does.
