Product Questions

Does it come in left and right shoulder?
Question by: Gayle Faiers on Sep 27, 2010, 2:41 PM
This is a universal cuff and can be worn on either the right or left shoulder.
Answer by: Admin on Sep 27, 2010, 2:41 PM
Will I be able to 1) apply the cuff myself; 2) infate/activate the cuff myself?

I have had cryo treatments in a Physio Therapy setting and have found it very helpful. Unless I can use and operate the cryo cuff system on my own, there would be no point in my purchasing.
Response appreciated.
Thank you
Question by: Joanne Healey on Mar 15, 2011, 8:08 PM
With the cryo cuff it is very easy to put on the cuff as well and use the system. I would suggest looking into getting the motorized unit, after your lift the cooler up and do a pre-fill, you will plug in the motor and it will continuously circulate the water for you until you turn the motor off.

Is the Air Cast Cryogenic Cuff comparable with the Don Joy Coller unit?
Thanks, Bob Barlowz
Question by: Bob Barlow on Jun 20, 2015, 1:24 PM
No the Aircast Shoulder Cryo/Cuff is not compatible with the DonJoy Iceman unit. You will need to order the DonJoy Shoulder Cold Pad, below is the link:

I'm having full thickness rotator cuff repair and bone spurs removed soon. Trying to decide which unit will work best. Will the non motorized unit do the trick? What's the difference?
Question by: Kathy on Jul 24, 2014, 6:23 PM
Kathy
The two units use grivity to fill and empy the cold water into the should cuff, by lifting the cooler 12-15 inches above to fill and placing the cooler on the floor to empy. The motorized unit pushes air into cooler which creates internittant compression in your shoulder cuff. so the motorized unit gives you cold therapy and compression where the gravity fed only gives you cold therapy. There is another difference, the motorized unit does stay cold longer before you have to empty the cuff.
