DonJoy Performance Launches Bionic FullStop, ACL Knee Brace for Athletes
Yesterday, DonJoy Performance, announced the launch of the Bionic Fullstop knee brace to their Bionic line. The Bionic Fullstop provides protection to the ACL for athletes who are recovering or looking to prevent ACL injury.
ACL injuries are unfortunately all too common to the everyday athlete:
The good news is that athletes return to sports even after an ACL injury. However, athletes are not always able to return to the level of play they were at prior to getting hurt. This makes ACL protection even more important to prevent re-injury.
How Does the Bionic FullStop Work?
Fullstop Dampening Hinges
The hinges on the FullStop engage at 145° and come to a full stop, preventing hyperextension at 170°. This full stop keeps your knee out of the “at-risk” position of where most ACL tears tend to happen. The dampening of the hinges help train your muscles to keep your knee, whether brace or un-braced, out of the “at-risk” zone.
Four Points of Leverage
The Four Points of Leverage is DonJoy's patented strapping system to enhance protection and positioning to the ACL.
Neoprene and Breathable Mesh Combo
The brace itself is made of a combination of neoprene and breathable mesh to maximize comfort through temperature regulation and provide compression.
Anti-Migration Technology
The inner liner of the knee brace is designed with anti-migration technology to help prevent the brace from slipping or moving during activity.
Adjustable Velcro Straps
Velcro straps make the brace easy to put on and take off. Straps are adjustable for a better fit.
Reflective
Reflective design enhances visibility in low-light conditions which means you can be seen during late night practices, workouts, and games.
Recommended for: ACL Injury, Meniscus Injury, Joint Instability, Ligament Tears and Sprains, Hyperextension, Patella Instability
Activities: football, soccer, skiing, snowboarding, basketball, lacrosse, volleyball, running
Don't let the thought of an ACL injury stop you from staying in the game. #stayinthegame

Yes, the DonJoy Performance Bionic Full Stop brace is excellent for soccer. The hinge in the Bionic Full Stop is made of stainless steel, making it one of our strongest hinges we have in our products. This allows the brace to help withstand the abuse from contact sports like soccer and football.
Im recovering form acl surgery, would you recommend this one or the armor?
I have had ACL surgeries on both my knees. Would wearing these on both of my legs make it too hard to play basketball. If so, is there any other brace which suits me better?
Apart from playing basketball, can i use this brace for running activities as well? ( like 10k or half marathon )
