I am 3 months post-op from ACL surgery and partial meniscectomy. I am wondering which brace would work best for this summer. I will be at 5/6 months post-op while I am working at a camp. I want to be able to do mild/moderate hiking and take part in most of the activities. I won't be playing any contact sports. Thanks!

Even with mild to moderate hiking you will want a very supportive brace to prevent any further injury to the ACL. The Full Force Ligament knee brace would be a good choice as it is light weight and low profile. The brace has our patened fourcepoint hinge and four point sof leverage strapping system. https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-fullfource-ligament-knee-brace

how do you wash the knee brace

Hand wash with mild soap and water and let the brace air dry.

What option is better if I occasionally need to wear the brace over my pants? Also what are the differences between the playmaker, and playmaker II?
Question by: Nikki on Aug 1, 2016, 8:55 AM
A wrap around brace would be easier to wear over pants. DonJoy has taken the Playmaker brace and enhanced it with Hi10TM (high tenacity nylon/spandex fabric) providing more comfort and a better fit with molded strap tabs to allow for quick and easy adjustments in the Playmaker II

Can any of your knee braces be used in salt water? I do (very vigorous) water aerobics 4x a week. My knee starts to hurt when I do my water aerobics and for some time after.

All of our braces can be used in salt water, but need to rinsed in fresh water after use and air dried.

Hey I had a grade 2+ MCL year about 4 weeks ago and it's healing pretty well but I need a brace for the game...I still feeling little instabilities here and there...would this help me with the instabilities I feel every now and then?
