What's the difference between the advanced knee brace and the telescoping knee brace?
Question by: Emily on Feb 3, 2013, 8:25 AM
Hello, Emily -

There are quite a few differences between the brace.

The Telescoping T-ROM has the following features:
* ankle stirrups
* varying extension and flexion stops

The Advanced T-ROM has the following features:
* streamline hinge (20% smaller)
* quick release buckles
* quick-lock mechanism

Both braces have different buckling system.

We recommend you contact our product specialists at 888-405-3251.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Five days after surgery an the brace keeps sliding down. How can I correct this?
Question by: Terri on May 28, 2013, 5:36 AM
Hello Terri,

The Brace should not be sliding down. The Straps on the TROM Advance are adjustable, you can tighten the fit. The Cuffs Telescope, so that you may adjust the height/length of the brace. Please contact us so that we can put you in touch with your area Representative, they can meet with you and adjust the brace. Another suggestion is to contact your Physician so that they may adjust the brace for you.

Have a Great Day.

¿Which one would work best for me? I can not put weight on my knee for near 60 days and the crunches are awful.
Question by: Carlos on Oct 15, 2013, 9:08 PM
Carlos
This brace, the TROM Advanced Knee Brace, is usually used after surgery and can be adjusted at the hinge to restrict motion of the knee joint. If you are not allowed to put any weight on your leg for sixty days wearing this brace would not change that. If you have any specific questions on the brace or any other please do not hesitate on letting us know. The crutches can be uncomfortable and here are a couple of suggestions. Do not lean on the crutches put the wieght on your hands and you can pad the top of the crutches with a towel wrapped and tapped around it.
