Pro Surfer Garrett McNamara Rides 90-Foot Wave
Professional surfer Garrett McNamara rode a record-breaking 90-foot wave on Tuesday, just north of Lisbon, Portugal. The largest wave ever recorded previously is a 77-foot wave ridden by Mike Parsons in 2008. Check out the video below of McNamara's amazing ride on this 90-foot beast:
Garrett McNamara's incredible feat was also featured on ESPN SportsCenter. McNamara has long been an advocator of DonJoy braces, wearing a Defiance knee brace on each knee as he takes on the surf.
