Do you recommend this product to protect your skin against chaffing? My brace works well however did iritate the back of my knee where there is a strap.

TB,
Thanks for contacting DJO Global, did you look at our cotton lycra undersleeve? DonJoy Knee Brace Undersleeves are the best way to improve comfort and protect your skin from chaffing. Also a great way to keep your leg and knee a bit warmer during cooler months while helping to control moisture during warmer times. Easy to apply and washable. 86% Cotton, 14% Lycra. You can find them at the link i have provided: https://www.donjoystore.com/knee-brace-undersleeve-cotton-lycra

I'm interested in this product, but I don't want the kind of sleeve that has a hole for the patella. Can you confirm that there is no hole in this knee sleeve?

Thanks

Hello, Tom -

Yes, you are correct, the DonJoy Basic Knee Sleeve does not have the patella cut out in the front.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

I have a skin allergy to silicone. Does this brace use a silicone band to help keep it up?

No it does not
Answer by: Admin on May 14, 2014, 1:12 PM
Does this have Latex? I am allergic to neoprene and latex, so I'm trying to see if this is an option.
Question by: Scott on Jul 5, 2014, 11:58 AM
Scott
the Drytex is a substitute for neoprene so it can be worn by those allergic to latex and neoprene

I am interested in the donJoy Drytex basic knee sleeve. Question is? What is it made of? and is the material thin so that it will fit under another brand knee brace that I already have that contains neoprene and is giving me a rash.
Question by: Richard Hahn on Jun 2, 2015, 1:52 PM
If you want something to go under another brace i would suggest our Lyrca undersleeve. https://www.donjoystore.com/knee-brace-undersleeve-cotton-lycra

I had a total knee replacement in the pass 5 months and I am looking for a sleeve for a trip and I was told that I could use this sleeve. Will this be a good idea to control some of the swelling.
Question by: Clara on Jul 25, 2016, 12:06 PM
Yes it would work but you may want to also take a look our DonJoy Performane Trizone Knee Sleeve this would provide a little more compression on the knee due to the injected plastic on to the sleeve. PLEASE SEE LINK BELOW:
