Product Questions
I am an avid skier, and I play basketball and soccer a lot. Will this brace fit with a ski boot and will I be to lift weights such as squats or lunges with this brace on? I have a history of knee sprains and hyper extensions due to sports. Will this brace be helpful in the future to prevent further injuries?
Thank you for contacting DJO. The brace length is 15" so it should be fine with ski boots. This brace will help to prevent injuries during your activities.
Thank you for contacting DJo. The spacer material is a lighter material that is also breathable. It is thinner than neoprene and not as heavy. It won't collect sweat like neoprene can do.
The Playmaker II is available with the New Spacer Mesh material, and rubber tips on the straps. This is the only difference between the two braces. The Playmaker is 16" long, the medial and lateral hinge bar will provide medial and lateral support. The Spacer material is our most breathable material, followed by Drytex, and then Neoprene. This brace also provides Mild Support to the ACL. If you need ACL support I recommend a Rigid Knee Brace.
