Can you wear the Cross Strap Brace in the water if you are a swimmer with Osgood Shlatter Disease?
Question by: Meghan on Oct 7, 2010, 4:26 PM
Yes you can. Just rinse with fresh water and air dry afterward.
Answer by: Admin on Oct 7, 2010, 4:26 PM
How do you put in on??
Question by: nicole on Jul 25, 2011, 1:10 PM
There is a slit in one side of the strap that you thread the other side through at the front of the knee just under the knee cap. The donjoy logo will be at the top of your calf so that someone standing behind you can read it, then attach the velcro on each side of the strap onto the brace to hold in place.

have pain during long walks and stairs will this help or just use the regular
knee support?
Question by: jerry on May 12, 2014, 7:43 AM
The patellar strap will help with pain under the kneecap. Another option is the donJoy Reaction Web Knee Brace: https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-reaction-knee-brace

I have been using 2 different knee braces ( patellar 2 straps / light support sleeve)
due to a LCL strain / IT Band . I do a fair amount of walking / up&down stairs for my work would this be a good choice for a LCL?
Question by: Dede on May 31, 2014, 9:04 PM
Dede
The Cross Strap is for patellar tendonitis, osgood schlatter's diseas IT band pain. For a LCL sprain you would want t hinged knee brace to support that ligament. The DonJoy Economy Hinged Knee Brace would help. https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-economy-hinged-knee

I've had both knee replaced and have lymphedema of my legs. Everything is being managed nicely with the exception of knee pain. The Solais wraps I have slip all day. I need something to give my knees some support I'd need something that could measure up tp 30" sometimes due to the fluid. Help
Question by: Michelle on Jul 14, 2014, 2:46 PM
Michele
Im not sure what brace you were looking at but for lymphedema, I would suggest a knee sleeve such as the Drytex Basic Knee sleeve https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-drytex-basic-knee-sleeve This sleeve's largest size is XXL which will fit a thigh circumference of 26.5"-29.5"

My nephew is currently wearing a cho-pat strap while playing basketball to decrease symptoms of Osgood Schlatter Disease. While the brace decreases pain levels and inflammation, hIs primary complaint is migration of the brace with activity. What brace would you recommend?
Question by: Misty on Dec 19, 2014, 6:16 AM
Misty
You can try the Don Joy Reaction Web knee Brace. https://www.donjoystore.com/donjoy-reaction-knee-brace This brace is for those who suffer from anterior knee pain and it helps decrease the shock applied to the knee during activitiy
