Begin by loosening all four straps, then pull the brace on and center the kneecap within the hex-shaped patella opening. Check that the brace sits straight, with both hinges running symmetrically down the sides of the leg. Tighten the straps in a stable sequence—top strap, bottom strap, then the middle lower strap followed by the middle upper strap, which crosses behind the leg.
